This session summarises research into the impact on student engagement and learning of a variety of pedagogic practices in the lecture theatre. Numerous and varied tips for the effective use (and non-use) of presentation software, for creativity in lecture structures, and for the creation of interactivity where appropriate, will be shared for discussion.

Please note that a £15 charge will be levied against University of Portsmouth Departments where a member of their staff has booked but not attended, unless DCQE has been notified of their absence at least 48 hours prior to the time of the event.
